Chair Aerobics and Yoga

45 minute group classes

Chair Aerobics, like any aerobic class, is designed to elevate your heart rate and keep it elevated for a set period of time. With chair aerobics, the participant is seated as well as standing using the chair for support. This class helps to build endurance and strengthens the heart.

Chair Yoga modifies yoga poses so they can be done while seated in a chair. These modifications make yoga accessible to people without stress of getting on the floor. Benefit from improved strength, flexibility, proprioception (knowing where your body is in space and coordinate your movements}, reduce stress, and improve mental clarity. Ends with meditation.

Group Hikes

From beginners to advanced.

Shape-up, 101 has it's own Outdoor Club. The club has organized hikes from 1 hour to 5 hours. Access the club on my Facebook page.

Private and group hikes can also be scheduled.

Cardio jam with Ripstix.

POUND is the world's first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious energizing sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Using Ripstix, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising. POUND transforms into an incredibly effective way of working out. This class will strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles and help you work your way to a leaner, slimmer physique - all while rocking out to your favorite music. No drumming experience needed. This class will improve rhythm, coordination, speed, agility, endurance, and musicality. This class can also be combined with other formats such as tabata and hand held weights and yoga.
